Product Description
- DAC is a model manufactured by Hitachi (now Property, Ltd.).
- DAC has good thermal stability and wear resistance, and can maintain hardness and strength at high temperatures.
- It has excellent machinability, is easy to cut, forge and heat treat, and can be used to manufacture molds and tools with complex shapes.
- Proper heat treatment can improve its hardness and wear resistance, making it more suitable for high loads and long-term use.
Detailed introduction
DAC is a type of hot tool steel commonly used in the manufacture of tools such as molds, die-casting molds, and plastic molds.

Main application scope
DACs are mainly used in mold manufacturing under high-temperature operating conditions, and their applications include:
- Plastic molds: DAC is commonly used to produce injection molding molds, compression molding molds and blow molding molds, etc., to cope with the plastic molding process under high temperature and high pressure.
- Die casting molds: Due to their good heat resistance and wear resistance, DAC is suitable for manufacturing die casting molds for metals such as zinc alloys and aluminum alloys.
- Hot work dies: In the field of hot work dies, DAC is often used to manufacture hot work dies, hot work die cores and die inserts, etc., for metal forming and processing at high temperatures.
- Plastic injection molding: DAC is also commonly used in the manufacture of plastic injection molding molds, such as mold cores and mold cavities of plastic injection molding molds.
- Stamping dies: DAC can also be used to manufacture stamping dies, such as punches, die plates and die inserts, to cope with the high temperature and high pressure processing of stamped metals.
In general, DACs are widely used in the mold manufacturing field due to their excellent heat resistance, wear resistance and machinability.
